This beautiful ceiling lamp by Erco is a true mid-century dream. This model was designed by Aloys F. Gangkofner for Erco Leuchten, in Germany in the 1960s
The shape is a perfect combination of contemporary and mid-century modern. 
The cream plastic Corpus is wrapped with two teak wood bands in the middle. The top and bottom holes are enforced with Aluminium rings and the lamp itself is simply held in place by metal clips that come right out for cleaning. 
Makers sticker is still attached at the top. 
This is a very rare find.
